AI marketing department

Your marketing department, on shift.

Cloud9 CMO is led by an AI Chief Marketing Officer, an agent that reviews priorities and hands work to the specialist on shift for it: content, ads, local listings, and more. Nothing goes live without you.

The market

Small businesses are already doing this.

This isn't an early bet on unproven technology. It's already how most small businesses in the US operate.

77%

of US small and midsize businesses now use AI regularly, up from 48% just eighteen months earlier.

Intuit QuickBooks, 2026 AI Impact Report
45%

of US small businesses using AI say marketing is where they use it, the single most common use case, ahead of customer service and bookkeeping.

87%

The businesses still on the sidelines aren't holding out over cost. According to the same Intuit research, the same three worries come up everywhere: what happens to their data, whether they can trust the output, and whether they'd even know if it was working. Here's how Cloud9 CMO answers each one.

FAQ

The honest questions, answered honestly.

What happens to our customer data?

Your account credentials, WordPress, ad accounts, Google Business Profile, are stored encrypted and scoped to your business only. No other tenant, and no agent outside your account, can see them. You can revoke access to any connected service at any time from your Settings page, and disconnecting removes that agent's access immediately.

What if the AI gets something wrong, or off-brand?

Nothing publishes, spends, or sends without your sign-off. Every post, campaign change, and customer message waits in your approval queue first, reject it and it never goes out, no explanation owed. The CMO agent assigns the work, but you're still the only one with a signature.

How do we know it's actually working?

Your Performance page shows exactly what happened, posts published, reviews answered, campaigns optimized, and an estimated number of hours it saved you, updated as your agents work. If you're brand new, you'll see that honestly too: a "just getting started" state instead of a wall of zeros, until your first task clears the approval queue and the numbers start moving.

The org chart

One CMO. A team that reports to it.

Every task starts with the CMO agent. It reviews what's outstanding, decides what matters today, and hands each job to the specialist on shift for it, the same way a real marketing lead runs a team.

The specialists

Six roles. Each with one job.

Every agent has one job and does it in the tool you already use, your WordPress, your Google Business Profile, your ad accounts.

Onboarding

Three steps to a staffed department.

Connect your accounts

WordPress, Google Business Profile, ad accounts, hand over access the way you would to a new hire, through a settings page you control.

The CMO takes over

Once your accounts are connected, the CMO agent reviews what's outstanding and assigns each job to the right specialist, content to Content, listings to Local SEO, and so on. You can also message any specialist directly, the way you'd ping a team member.

You approve what matters

Anything with a real-world consequence, a post, a campaign, a spend change, waits in one queue for your yes or no before it happens.

Cheaper than a hire. Faster than a team.
